German Quality for the Automotive Industry
VACU-form WISCHEMANN GmbH & Co. KG has been developing and manufacturing Aircell honeycomb core panels for years in Salzbergen for demanding applications—including automotive OEMs and their Tier 1 suppliers. The patented inline thermoforming process creates a three-dimensional air-cell structure that requires no bonding agents and is therefore chemically cleaner than bonded composite solutions.
Manufacturing in Germany enables short supply chains, strict quality control in accordance with internal testing standards, and direct coordination with development departments. For industrial bulk buyers, this means: consistent specifications, batch traceability, and order quantities ranging from single samples to full-scale production—all manageable via the plate configurator.
Production and quality assurance take place exclusively at the Salzbergen facility in Lower Saxony.
Proprietary 3D thermoforming process—no bonded layers, no bonding agents.
Long-standing collaboration with vehicle manufacturers and Tier 1 suppliers in mass production.
Single-material PP or ABS – fully recyclable, can be designed to comply with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive.
Technical Specifications of Our Honeycomb Core Panels
Aircell air chamber panels for automotive applications are manufactured from polypropylene (PP), ABS, or HDPE using a patented deep-drawing process. The thickness and basis weight can be selected from 10 verified combinations depending on the load profile. All values are taken from the live configurator:
